Bombers! Rest assured, we’re here! The closer we get to launch the more detail-driven we as a team become. We find ourselves coming up with more exciting and beneficial ways to improve our concept and its platform. Needless to say however, we’re extremely far in our development process and things are looking up!

New and Improved Styling!

One of the major additions to the concept has been the decision to add multiple colorways of the same item. Most item slots will receive four items per season, adding up to a total of 24 items overall. These items are divided in rarity; common (green), rare (blue), epic (purple), and legendary (orange). The available supply of an item is determined by its rarity, therefore common items will be the most present out of any rarity.

The different Colour-ways of ‘Lunar Skies’.

We’ve decided to add this feature for several reasons besides the most obvious one.. it’s just way way cooler! We wanted to prevent everyone from looking the exact same in the first season of ‘Lunar Skies’, this feature will help to prevent that from happening. But more importantly, we would eventually like to see a world in which the Spiritbomb platform has two distinct categories; competition and styling.

Competing for the leaderboard is pretty straightforward, the higher your Power Level (PL. info, p.11: https://spiritbomb.energy/SpiritBomb-Whitepaper.pdf) the higher you’ll end up in the leaderboard. However, in order to give new players a fighting chance and to incentivise existing players to engage with the latest sets, most new items will see a small increase in power level. This will stimulate the competition that will generate a large portion of the lifeblood of the platform.

Unfortunately though that means that in the long run the power level of items from legacy sets will diminish, lowering its competitive value. But don’t you worry! In order to combat this, we decided to develop a very different yet exciting type of competition in which not the Power Level, but the aesthetics of your items matter, the ‘Stylists Arena’. Here players will compete not based on their power level but on the cohesiveness or originality of their outfit. These competitions will be community-based and will also include exclusive prices, both (cosmetic) items, and cash prices. We’re still working out the details but in order to prevent a rigged competition from happening we’ll select a new unbiased jury with every iteration of the ‘Stylists Arena’. We’re even thinking of inviting real-world stylists to determine the outcome of the competition.

This type of competition will help to prevent your items from losing value since the variety in color amongst items will drastically increase their scarcity, even if they belong to the common slot for example. So who knows! Your ‘black on black’ common crocks might just be the thing everyone’s after.

Community Designed Items!

Oh.. and before we go! We got a little something for our community King, you know who you are! We would like to thank you for your input and we definitely hope that this will suffice as a ‘Cyborg Pluto’. It’s one, if not the only legendary item of the set! Inspired by the infamous ‘Boston Dynamics’ we thought this cutie fitted the thematics perfectly.

Accessory Slot 1. The Legendary Spirit Dog ‘Bluto’!
