SpiritBomb UPDATE NR.15: 25/04/2022
Dear Bombers, well.., that was quite the thing.. wasn’t it?! We don’t want to address our most recent copycat too much, but we are happy to see that due to adequate actions taken by both our community members, the team and scam detectors, the attempt to scam has been limited to a bare minimum. We’re now actively tracking telegram and other channels to prevent this from happening again. Finally, we would like to confirm that none of our assets that weren’t shared publicly have been compromised.
With that out of the way.. we’ve got some interesting things to share with you. First, we would like to generally address the current status of our developments. In order:
- All NFT Item Drawings are Finished.
A total of 24 items, excluding the different color combinations of several items. - All NFT Item Stat Lines are Final.
We’ve constructed a formula that will help the scalability of items over the course of the next few years, taking into account the accessibility for new players and the relevance of older items for seasoned players. - Our NFT Contracts are Almost Ready for Testing.
We will not share any code, for obvious reasons, until we’re officially launching our MVP. What we can share however that are developing the contracts in such a way that they are flexible and we can extend them in later stages of the platform. Our MVP will not see mini-games, but that’s not to say that they won’t be available later down the line. We’ll be running several behind-the-scenes test runs with the current contract to help ensure smooth sailing once we go live. - Loot Box Probabilities Established.
In order to participate in the SpiritBomb project, you’ll need items. Which will come from various sources including loot boxes. We’ve developed a formula that ensures that every new-minted character comes with a set of items that you’ll immediately be able to equip. Other stand-alone loot boxes will see higher drop chances for the rarer and sought-after items. The probabilities of which are decided by a custom ‘weighted’ formula that allows for a flexible input of a wide range of loot boxes. - New Website is Under Construction (New Team Member).
Our website designs are close to final and we’ll address them in today’s update! It is currently being developed by the team, which has taken on board a new and talented web developer whom we know in real life. - New Organic Marketing Plan.
We’re happy to share that we’re currently building good relationships with some noticeable people within the crypto-space. We’re aiming to utilize these relationships in an organic marketing plan once we go live. We are convinced that most of our success will come from honest work and thus we would like to work with the people that we’ve come to know.
New Website Reveal!
We mentioned before how we’re so keen on adding new features to our product, well, here’s an example. We’re currently developing a website that’s so elaborate that you’ll have to excuse us for taking a minute longer than we originally anticipated. But! It’ll definitely be worth the wait. As was just mentioned, we’ve even taken on a new team member to help realize our ideal end result.
Here’s the ‘Main Character’ page where you’ll find your linked and minted character. On the left, you can have a variety of pages to go through:
- ‘Current Season Overview & Timeline’, where you can find all of the necessary information regarding the current season.
- The ‘Leaderboard’, where you can track all of the participating players.
- The ‘Seasonal Styling Contest’, where you can find the criteria of the current styling contest and an overview of all participating players listed in order of accumulated votes. This feature will be added in the later stages of the project.
- In the ‘Item Gallery,’ you’ll find an overview of all released items. You’ll be able to apply certain filters like rarity, color, and item slot, in order to categorize and pinpoint specific items.
- The ‘SpiritBomb Marketplace’, is an ambitious endeavor, we want to give players the option to trade their items within the platform itself. With our in-house talent, we’re confident in delivering a custom NFT marketplace. However, we don’t want to exclude other third-party platforms so we’ll include links to all relevant trading platforms.
- A downloadable ‘SpiritBomb Whitepaper (.pdf)’ is provided for detailed information regarding our contracts, philosophy & concept, and team composition.
- A simplified guide on ‘How To Buy SpiritBomb’ tokens.
On the right, you’ll find the options specific to the current page. For example, the character overview page has three different sub-menus:
- Character Export Options.
One of the coolest things about the SpiritBomb project is the flexibility of our ‘layered-NFT’ system. We’ll be able to re-arrange the composition of all assets that make up your character, thus we can essentially provide export options for countless devices and platforms. Here’s a list of some of the options that will be made available!
- Character Customisation Menu.
At the heart of the SpiritBomb project lies customisability. This is the menu of customization options that are currently being developed.
We’re using a stacking system for layering the options. This will translate well to mobile devices.
Managing and importing items is also done through the ‘Character Customisation Menu’.
And so is changing Cosmetics! And that covers one of the most important sections of the upcoming website. We’ll be sharing more pages of the website in our future updates. Let us know what you think on one of our channels, we hope you’re as excited as we are!
