Breaking: Goodbye SpiritBomb, Hello World!
In the last months, the crypto market has received a headwind following macro-economic turn down observed throughout the world economy, based on high inflation, war, and post-COVID supply chain issues. Throughout this temporary cool-down of the cryptocurrency market, the team has continued to build, meet up, write code, test, develop visuals, and have a laser-sharp focus on the intended end goal: a fun, challenging, and well-designed game based on innovative NFT and blockchain technology. With that, we are proud to announce several big next steps in our journey.
Re-branding
As many of you know the SpiritBomb project originally launched last year merely as an ‘anime-coin’ referencing the Dragon Ball Z Franchise. Quickly after launch, it became evident that together with the community and the team in place we had the capability to build more than just an anime-coin. After months of hard work, we have decided to make the final decision needed to get the project ready for the next phase: the launch.
In order to work towards an actual launch, we need to move away from Dragon Ball Z references to avoid copyright infringements. As you may have noticed, in the last months, we have worked hard to develop a unique visual identity that allows us to move away from any of the Dragon Ball Z references. This can be considered as a maturity step of the project, meaning that we will full our very own identity mirrored through our communication, visuals and in-game features.
Concretely this will mean that:
- SpiritBomb as a project will be renamed (will be announced in the near future)
- SpiritBomb logo will change (to fit the new name and identity)
- SpiritBomb website and social handles will be renewed (to fit the new name and identity)
- All previously created items, whitepaper, avatar, and website designs will be re-used to ensure full re-usability of all the efforts spent so far
Re-launching
Next to the re branding, we are also announcing a re-launch of the project’s token and smart contract. This needs to happen to support necessary functions for the future game mechanics and to launch a new ticker (currently $SBMB, referring to SpiritBomb). Introducing a new name can be considered as a way to open up new opportunities (e.g. being listed on Coingecko or CoinMarketCap).
More details will follow in the near future.
Closing words
We understand that the lack of activity in and around our social media may indicate a ‘dead project’, but make no mistake. We are six dedicated and highly skilled professionals that earn their money through day jobs at international corporate organizations. As our salaries are not dependent on SpiritBomb, we are financially independent and therefore only rely on the time and effort spent by ourselves and the community into making SpiritBomb a success.
We are here and we are building, designing, and preparing to launch the project in sync with the next leg-up of the overall cryptocurrency market. Logically, launching in a down-turn market will have a negative impact on the possibilities of making this project a success. Therefore we are preparing, building and planning ahead so that when we reach the next bull-market phase, so that we can grow together!
Looking at the game dynamics, designs, and feedback of the community and friends of the project, we are confident in providing a fun and dynamic game with slick-designed visuals and avatars.
